Rising Phoenix Student Theatre Company

The Rising Phoenix Student Theatre Company was formed in 2011 by Kirtland Center director, Jomarie Gurnow, as a way to involve students in theatre productions at Kirtland Community College. From beginning to end, students are immersed in the creative and production process, designing, constructing, stage-managing, operating lighting and sound, and performing. Students are even involved in the ticket office, as well as, front of house. Members must be enrolled students of Kirtland Community College and possess qualities that include, dedication, determination, and willingness to learn. No experience is required.
